Writers’ showcase, August 31, 2020

(Love the way this one builds and its melancholy. I wish we could find out more about the baby and the protagonist.)

(You can feel the despair build from the first moments of the story, and it keeps rolling down…like a boulder. Until it sits hard and heavy in your stomach at the end.)

(Like all of you, I long for a vacation too that includes leaving my home and tasting the delights of a new place. [Sigh])

(Ooh, I wish we knew what Celeste had done!)
